The Story
Cookbook
We had a collectible mechanic in this story in which the character would "collect” recipes from the different restaurant owners and chefs. The Main Character would then add these to her personal cookbook. For these, we wanted an illustrated, watercolor aesthetic for maximum charm.
Inspired Dishes
Meanwhile, the Main Character was also developing new dishes inspired by the traditional recipes that she was collecting. These were plated and showcased in a more modern way, which are reflected below. We even worked with a chef to create the modern writeups of the dishes!
